APPLICATION DETAILS

We have applied for planning permission to build a temporary venue to house the show, on the currently undeveloped site next to the Coin Street neighbourhood centre, which sits on the corner of Stamford Street and Cornwall Road. The building will have the following key features:

  • Multi-level show venue, providing an immersive experience for approximately 530 guests
  • Naturally ventilated to avoid unnecessary fan equipment
  • High environmental performance
  • Acoustically sealed that will result in the noise being contained within the building
  • The outside of the building will be covered in shades of blue aluminium, which will move and shimmer in the breeze

It is expected that the building will be located on the site for a temporary period of approximately 5 years. This will provide a meanwhile use for the undeveloped site, whilst Coin Street Community Builders consider plans for the long term.

The planning application documents are available to download below.

The application details can also be viewed on Lambeth's online planning register under the reference number 17/03658/FUL
